Rosie, I'm coming into this conversation near the end, but my first thought is that maybe one of your parents could have been a skunk (not a stinky one, though). And the stripe ended up in the wrong place?
Once my mom thought I turned into a punk rocker because she found neon pinkness all over my head and shoulders and stuff. It turned out I'd gotten into her wine-colored lipstick. Even though she tried to wash it off, traces of it stayed for quite some time. *I thought I looked very cool!
Anyway, your stripe is quite attractive, so I wouldn't worry!

The Woman's sister once painted a large white strip down the side of her head. For years people called her "Skunk." You'd think one might regret that, but the Woman says it was really kind of cool, maybe the only cool thing her sister ever did.
So WHY it got painted on you doesn't matter. it's just freaking cool, and that's all that matters!
